Conditions available for your trading strategies

With PersonalTrader you can create automatic trading strategies with mutliple conditions and timeframes. Conditions consist in techinical analysis indicators, candlestick patterns and price action. Here is a list of all the available conditions.

How to select candle/s in strategies

Target only one specific candle

Target multiple candles, excluding lasts

RSI crossed X up
It triggers when the RSI crosses X up (where X is a number at your choice between 5 and 50). This condition considers 2 candles, the selected candle RSI should be above X and the previous candle RSI should be below X. If you select “within X candles”, this condition triggers if the RSI crosses X up at least once within the selected candles.

RSI crossed X down
It triggers when the RSI crosses X down (where X is a number at your choice between 50 and 95). This condition considers 2 candles, the selected candle RSI should be below X and the previous candle RSI should be above X. If you select “within X candles”, this condition triggers if the RSI crosses X down at least once within the selected candles.

RSI is below X
It triggers when the RSI is below X (where X is a number at your choice between 5 and 50) in the selected candle. If you select “within X candles”, this condition triggers if the RSI is below X at least once within the selected candles.

RSI is above X
It triggers when the RSI is above X (where X is a number at your choice between 50 and 95) in the selected candle. If you select “within X candles”, this condition triggers if the RSI is above X at least once within the selected candles.

RSI increasing
It triggers when the RSI keep increasing (going up). This condition considers 2 candles, the selected candle RSI should be higher than the previous candle RSI. If you select “within X candles”, this condition triggers if the RSI keep increasing within all the selected candles.

RSI decreasing
It triggers when the RSI keep decreasing (going down). This condition considers 2 candles, the selected candle RSI should be lower than the previous candle RSI. If you select “within X candles”, this condition triggers if the RSI keep decreasing within all the selected candles.
